How to Draw Victor and Emily

1

Make the odd shapes for the heads of Emily and Victor like you see here. At this point they are shaped like two dew drops.

2

Let's start with Victor first. Begin at the forehead and draw the profile of his face. The nose should be long and chin should be pointed. Add the ear outline as well.

3

You can now start to draw in Victor's hair. The bangs are straight, layered and a bit messy.

4

Finish drawing the rest of the hair which is also the shape of his head. Add the skinny neck shape next.

5

Here we will draw Victor's face. He needs to look as humble as possible. Draw and color in the eyebrows in an expressive manner. Then draw the large bulging eyes. Add detail inside his ear and on his lip.

6

Finish Victor off by drawing the rest of his upper body which is the jacket, sleeve or arm and jacket collar. Add detailing to his clothing for texture definition.

7

Now let's begin drawing Emily. Instead of breaking the face and head up in two pieces, you will make the profile of Emily's face like so, and then draw the shape of the head.

8

The crown like lining on her head is actually her bangs pulled and tied back. Draw the rest of her hair length too.

9

Now draw the eyebrows, big pouting eyes and plump looking lips. Don't forget her eyelashes and nostril.

10

Lastly, add detailing to Emily's hair and draw more of her hair falling on her chest like you see here. Erase all those guides and mistakes.

11

Color the would be couple in from Corpse Bride and you have just created classic looking Tim Burton characters. Have fun coloring them in.

Description: As you all know I always try and fill tutorial requests and for some time these two characters have been on my list. Today I will attempt to teach you "how to draw Victor and Emily from Corpse Bride". I know they don't love each other or even end up together, but since Emily thinks she loves Victor this makes a good lesson to create and upload. So I do hope you enjoy drawing Victor and Emily. When making this tut it brought me back to my younger years when I was so into Tim Burton films. Don't get me wrong I still love Tim Burton, I just don't watch a whole lot of television to enjoy their creativity. Hopefully you will though with this submission.
