How To Draw Yaoi Manga
Well, I am submitting a lesson on a very provocative drawing on characters that are part of the manga world. The tutorial that I will be putting up was done out of request and even though the characters are both male and they are both “together”, they came out pretty cool on the art aspect of their creation. I will now show you “how to draw Yaoi Manga step by step”. Now, I don't know too much about this manga category so I will not give you a detailed description for the first time ever. All I can tell you is that Yaoi is also called Shōnen-ai or in Japan as “Boys' Love” or “BL”. The concept was created by female authors and the reading was supposed to be for female readers. The lesson is laid out with multiple poses and positions. I know the very last one may be a bit uncomfortable for some of you but, that is what Yaoi is. I do apologize in advance if any of you feel offended in any way, shape, or form. When you learn “how to draw Yaoi manga step by step”, you will also be learning “how to draw manga drawing Yaoi”. Have a good time and remember, it's only art.

STEP 1.
Before we take a leap forward into the actual aspect of manga yaoi, we must learn the basics. The first rule is being aware of the different styles of mouths. There are numerous anime mouth styles. Pick one that most suits your taste and we’ll move on forward. My taste in mouths is the more realistic ones.
STEP 2.
This is the next step to completing an art piece of Yaoi. When you draw different Yaoi scenes, you’ll need to use mouths for sensuality.
STEP 3.
These are the different types of manga eyes that you will be learning how to draw as well. learning how to draw Shonen eyes will be just as easy as drawing any other eye.
STEP 4.
This is a sketched out drawing of two different types of Yaoi characters. One is Chibi and one is on a more realistic level.
STEP 5.
In a common Yaoi story, there’s a male that’s shy and a male that’s aggressive and romantic. The aggressive male always makes the first move. The shy one is always the one that gets taken advantaged of. But, like I said, those characteristics are in the common Yaoi stories. Some artists make both characters aggressive and hardcore (Naruto and Sasuke.)
STEP 6.
Here is a sketch I drew of two different character poses of a Yaoi couple.
STEP 7.
Draw two circles for the heads and then add the facial guidelines. When learning how to draw Yaoi heads you will be doing something very simple.
STEP 8.
Okay start sketching out the front shapes of the heads and side view lining for the faces. Their lips are interlocked as you can see because once again that is what Boys' Love is right?
STEP 9.
I want you to work on the character to the right and sketch out the hair, jaw, ear and neck part of the two Yaoi characters.
STEP 10.
Sketch out the other male character and he is the one that is being grabbed by the other male manga character. Again you will sketch out the hair style, back of the neck and even some of the manga back, and you will also learn how to draw a manga hand as you can see here. Add some shading and proceed on.
STEP 11.
This is the finished drawing on how to draw Yaoi manga step by step. Add some color and you are golden.
STEP 12.
To shoe you in more detail, here is a helpful hint that will make drawing two people kissing easier for you to do.
STEP 13.
This is a tutorial on how to draw manga drawing Yaoi full body image. Start with two circles for the manga character heads and then draw the bodies line of position as seen here.
STEP 14.
You will start sketching out the two male faces kissing that you will be learning how to draw and make sure you tale your time so that their jaws and chins come out nicely.
STEP 15.
Sketch out the shape of their heads in more detail and then add their hair styles which look pretty wild. Add neck lines for the both of them and move to the next step.
STEP 16.
You will start sketching out the shapes of the manga male bodies and then the arms. Detail the ear to the left and then add some shading on their necks.
STEP 17.
Sketch out the chest and then add some muscle definition to the abs and chest as you see here. See how easy this is so far?
STEP 18.
You will now sketch out the arm and hand and then sketch out the Yaoi pelvic area as seen here. Add some shading as well.
STEP 19.
This is the last drawing step and all you will need to do is sketch out their pants and make sure they look wrinkly and loose. Erase all the guidelines and shapes to clean up your drawing then move to the next step.
STEP 20.
Here is what your "Boys' love" characters should look like when you are done. Color them in and you have just learned "how to draw Yaoi manga step by step".Comments: Post Comment
