This is going to be another drawing lesson on something spacey. Now that I did a lesson on a galaxy I am going to show you “how to draw Saturn" step by step. Now for those of you that don't know, Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and it is the second largest planet in the solar system with a diameter measured at being seventy four thousand, one hundred thirty miles. Almost all of the information that was learned about Saturn was done back in 1980-1981 with the Voyager Spacecraft. Now the body of the planet is flat at the poles which is due to the extremely fast rotation of the planets axis. Now say if you were to live on the planet Saturn, your day would last ten hours and thirty nine minutes, and it would take twenty nine and a half years to go around the entire Sun. The atmosphere is mainly hydrogen and small amounts of helium and methane. Get this, the planet Saturn is thirty percent less dense than water which means that if there was ever a large enough ocean found on the planet, it would literally float in it. Pretty amazing huh? It is also said that the wind that blows on Saturn is insanely fast. How fast you ask? Well lets see, the speed of Saturn's wind reaches one thousand one hundred miles an hour and that is all blown going in a easterly direction. Obviously the fastest wind speeds are found near the Equator. Saturn has a hazy yellow color to it and it also has a broad atmospheric banding that is fainter than planet Jupiter. I mean, there is a lot more interesting facts about this planet but unfortunately I have no more time to spare telling you all there is to know. This tutorial will show you “how to draw Saturn", step by step. I will be back with one more lesson so stay tuned.

# How to Draw Saturn

## STEP 1.

draw a circle shape for the planet and then you will draw a horizontal line in the middle. You will then draw another horizontal line under the longer one.

## STEP 2.

You will now draw a circle that goes around teh planet as you see here.

## STEP 3.

Draw yet another line inside of the one you just drew. This are the rings that surround the planet.

## STEP 4.

Draw another inner circle swirl as you see here and then move to the next step. These inner rings are needed to make Saturn a complete planet of our solar system.

## STEP 5.

Add yet another inner ring and then move on.

## STEP 6.

This is your last drawing step and you will draw the last two inner rings as you see here. Now erase the guidelines in the middle.

## STEP 7.

When you are done this is what your planet should look like. Pretty simple huh? I hope you liked earning how to draw Saturn step by step.
