Step 1.
Lets start this step with some basic drawing of the guidelines. Draw one small circle for the head, another medium sized circle for the front part of the body, and another round circle for the end of the animal. As you can see there are four smaller circles that are used as limb guides, draw those in as well. After you complete doing all the guiding detail, sketch the dinosaurs curved neck and go half way down the back. Draw the rounded hind thigh and front limb before going to step 2.
Step 2.
Here you will finish the creation of the face by drawing a round looking snout. Sketch the rest of the elongated bone that is part of its head. Sketch more lining of the body and start to fill in the definition of the body. Draw pieces of meaty flesh sort of hanging or bulging from the skin. Just make the dinosaur look plump. Sketch the bottom of the hind foot and front hand.
Step 3.
What you will be doing in this step is sketch out the rest of the back and part of the tail. Prepare the hind leg that is set in the back ground by drawing an oblong shape that looks like its hiding behind the body. Do the same for the front arm in the back as well before you move to step 4.
Step 4.
Now, here you will start the detailing in the face of the dinosaur. Make sure you take your time with each and every step to end up with a quality sketch. Finish Drawing the tail by connecting the two lines together. Sketch the rest of the Parasaurolophus limbs in the back and in the front. Make sure you detail the limbs, and wrinkle up the line detail you put on the body. After you have done all this, move to step 5.
Step 5.
This step is all about detailing the body with more definition. The butt part of the animal needs to have wrinkled lines placed there as well. I say wrinkled because since this is not your regular lizard the size of the animal would make it have a lot of extra baggage, so when the baggage gets worn wrinkles form. Dinosaurs have the exact same skin as any reptiles that exist today would.
Step 6.
Here is your finished art work. This is after you've erased all the guidelines and sketch marks made by your pencil. Once your finished doing all that erasing you should end up with what you have here.Comments: Post Comment
