How to Draw Dora Grown Up

1

We will draw a stick figure for the framework to Dora. Start with a circle for the head, then draw the torso shape, lines for her legs, and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

You can now draw the shape of Dora's face and then draw in the thick bangs and some of the hair on the side of her face.

3

Next up draw the shapes of her eyes, then draw in the pupils and color them in. When that is done add the eyebrows too.

4

Draw her small nose, and then draw the lips and mouth. When that is done you can draw the ear and earring.

5

Here we will be drawing out Dora's long layered hairstyle. She is still wearing a headband so you have to add that as well.

6

Let's get started with drawing her body. Draw the neck, shoulders, and torso along with the sleeved for her clothing. Add pleats to the sleeves too.

7

Add a belt, then draw the skirt. Her dress is loose and ruffled.

8

Now draw her arms, then add the bow in back of her dress.

9

Draw in the splatter design on her dress, then add the trim and pleat detailing.

10

We will now draw in Dora's capri style pants or leggings. When you do this you will also be drawing the legs. Add the stitch marks on the pants, then proceed to step eleven.

11

Draw in the rest of her legs, then draw the small feet in the form of shoes.

12

Add soles and laces on her shoes, then you can erase all your mistakes.

13

Dora all grown up can be colored in now. When you are done you can show folks what you have done.

Description: I don't know how many people know, but there is a whole new series out and it's all revolved around the adventures of Dora and her friends. The catch to this new Nick Jr. series is Dora is grown up into a tween. She is no longer the cute stubby Latino girl, instead she is the beautiful, bright, and fun loving girl who is still doing everything in her power to give back to the community, friends and family. She has a whole new crew and is even joined by some old friends like Pablo. She's taller, has long hair, wears purple and pink and has a crew of BFFs. I hope you like this lesson on "how to draw Dora grown up" from Dora and Friends:Into the City.
