How to Draw Realistic Ponyo

1

Begin this first step the same way you do other tut steps on human figures. Make a guide for the head/face, then draw the neck and shoulders.

2

Next up, sketch out Ponyo's face shape in an adult form, then draw in her bangs and chunk of hair on the side of her face like you see it drawn for you here.

3

Next, draw in the rest of Ponyo's hairstyle, and make sure that it's rugged, short and layered.

4

All you have to do here is draw in Ponyo's eye lids like so. Be sure the lining is thick and has lashes. Also start the lining for the nose.

5

Finish drawing in Ponyo's face by adding the eyebrows then finishing the eyes. Draw the end of her nose, then sketch in her cute smile.

6

Let's get started with her body by first drawing the shape of her neck, then draw the shoulders, short collar, and then her hand which will later be clinging onto her bucket handle.

7

As I just said, here is the bucket. Draw in the handle first, then draw the container. Add detailing to the bucket, then you can proceed to step eight.

8

Finally, draw the rest of her upper body or what you can see of it. This should include her shoulder, shirt material, and arm. Erase all your mistakes and guides you made.

9

That's it, this is how an adult or young aged woman of Ponyo looks when you are done. Now you can color her in to add some colorful life to the tut.
