How to Draw a Sad Goth Girl

Step 1.

The first thing we need to do is make the head/face guide like so. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Step 2.

Next, sketch out the structure of the girl's face like so. Notice that it's pretty long.

Step 3.

Next, begin sketching out the hair which is long pointed bangs that flow low on her face covering her eyes as you will see. The bangs have a light swoop.

Step 4.

Use the facial guidelines to draw out the shapes of the eyes. The lining should be extremely thick, dark and bold like you see here. Draw in some tears that flow down her cheeks, then add lashes a nose and then her sad mouth with little lips. Notice the top lip is colored in.

Step 5.

You can draw the neck shape, then draw in her shoulders.

Step 6.

Finish drawing the hairstyle which is limp, straight and somewhat long. She has layers within her hairstyle.

Step 7.

Lastly, draw in the choker around her neck followed by the pendant that is attached. Add the straps for her shirt then sketch in the collar line associated with her body. Erase the mistakes and guides before you go.

Step 8.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can color in your goth girl who is sad.
