STEP 1.
first we are going to draw out the shapes for the head and neck
STEP 2.
now we are going to add some details to the mouth, eye, and horn.
STEP 3.
now we are going to finish the face
STEP 4.
Now we are going to add the spines and neck/belly scales
STEP 5.
Now we are going to add some finishing touches...then be VERY carful to erase the beginning guide lines and there! you have a dragon head.
STEP 6.
It should look something like this when you are finished...sorry about the steps being all weird with the dragon drawing different then the guide lines. I used pencil to draw the dragon then Paint to make the tutorial lol. ^_^ have fun drawingComments: Post Comment

Get a sheet of paper and draw 6 lines like this | | | | | | |. Take your pencil and gently scribble across the lines very lightly. Then go back from the beginning and go over it again but this time add a little bit of pressure to it. The goal is to have 6 different shades in between the lines from light to dark or dark to light, whichever you started from. You can use a small napkin or your finger and carefully but gently slide it across the lines to create a gradient effect if you can't blend the shades well with your pencil. Once you've got it, try it again until you're ready to blend the shades with your pencil

yep red is the most common and then there is black and tan and then white. my fave are the red though :P thank you Dizzy
