How to Draw Firecrackers

Step 1.

Start off by drawing the first section to your salutes like so. These are just the caps.

Step 2.

Next, draw in the small wells that are on the top of each salute where the wick comes out from.

Step 3.

Draw in the wicks like so.

Step 4.

Here you will only draw a star burst on one of the wicks while the other is just hanging out.

Step 5.

Draw in the rest of the firecracker's tubing like so.

Step 6.

Now add your stripes. If you made mistakes you can erase them now.

Step 7.

Here you have two salutes that are ready to be colored in and used for the 4th of July.

Yes, you are seeing correctly. I figured I would get a head start on some pretty cool looking 4th of July lessons that I know people would enjoy and use. Having said that, here is "how to draw firecrackers", step by step. Firecrackers are also called 'salutes'. My little brother actually loves salutes, he likes to attach little green army men to them and create a war scene in the dirt as he lights them up. When I say "little brother" I don't mean he is small, he is fifteen so no worries about getting his hands blown off because he knows what he is doing. The firecrackers in this lesson are colored in a festive red, white and blue and as you can see one of them are lit and ready to blow. Anyways, have fun, and look for more great 4th of July lessons in the near future.
