How to Draw Anime Butters

Make the head shape and then the body guide. You will also sketch in the facial guidelines too.

Use the facial guide shape to sketch out the beginning structure of anime Butters' face.

Fill in the gap by drawing Butters' hairstyle which is your typical little boy style; messy, uncombed and all over the place. Draw in the ear and move to step four.

Now we will draw in the eyes which are in an innocent expressive pose. When that is done add the nose, mouth, blush marks on his cheeks then draw in the detailing to his ear. Be sure to make his eyebrows arch up towards each other to give him that in

We will begin drawing his body starting with the neck. Then we need to draw in his shoulders, arms and some of his torso. The arms are also his sweater sleeves. Add the folds to the sleeve to make the shirt look loose.

We will now work on getting the hands drawn in. Start with the hand from the sleeve you just made, then draw the opposite hand. His fingers are touching to show how kids act. Add detailing to the sweater, then move to step seven.

Cap off the shirt by drawing the end. Add the zipper or closure line down the middle of the shirt/sweater/coat.

Draw the other arm or sleeve like so. This is a simple task.

And lastly, draw some of Butters' bottom which is also his pants. Add the wrinkle to the crotch and pocket line. Erase the mistakes and you are done.

Description: Here is one of my favorite characters from the South Park series only in this tutorial I recreated him in an anime form. Up next we will learn "how to draw anime Butters", step by step. The cute, adorable, soft spoken little boy has the innocence of an angel when he speaks and has a brains of a small child. He always tries to do the right thing even when he does the wrong thing. I tried making him look as he acts in the series, and although I think I have accomplished that task, there is some minor things I would change. All in all it's an awesome lesson and I think you will all be happy with drawing anime Butters. Stay tuned in because there is another South Park character coming your way.
