How to Draw Realistic Cartman

Step 1.

Make two shapes, one for the head and the other for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines, then draw an arm guide too.

Step 2.

Up next draw the clunky arm which is reaching around the front of his body as he will be holding all the goodies he bought to eat. The jacket sleeve should be wrinkled to look loose fitting.

Step 3.

You will now draw Cartman's nose and mouth, then draw the cup that is clutched between his arm and chest as he slurps down the drink.

Step 4.

Draw Cartman's big head, then add the lid for his knit hat, then add his chubby cheeks and double chin.

Step 5.

Add the stripes on his knit hat and then sketch in the pompom on his hat too.

Step 6.

Up next, draw in his mean expressive eyes, then add some freckles, acne and his ears. Also detail the straw.

Step 7.

You will now draw in Cartman's popcorn back and be sure to fill it with a bunch of popcorn.

Step 8.

All you have to do here is draw the hand in an open manner.

Step 9.

Add detailing to the fingers, and to the sweater cuff.

Step 10.

Now you can draw in the rest of the junk that Cartman is holding in his arms and hands. Detail the goodies and you are done.

Step 11.

You will now draw out Cartman's other arm, then when you do this make the wrinkles to add texture detailing.

Step 12.

Draw in his big fat belly, then add some folds for the shirt as it is tucked in his pants.

Step 13.

Draw in the seam line for the jacket and then add the buttons.

Step 14.

To finish off Cartman all you have to do is draw the pants and then draw the end of the jacket which is the stretchy part. Erase the mistakes too.

Step 15.

Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Now you can color in Cartman to your liking. I hope you enjoyed drawing a realistic Cartman.

Now the fun begins. Have you ever wondered what the South Park gang would look like if they were realistic characters? Well, I have and the next few tuts are going to show you just how I see them based on their characteristics and personalities. We will begin with "how to draw realistic Cartman", step by step. Eric Cartman has got to be one of my favorite characters of the series of all time. He is loud, sort of dumb, and has a rude, crude personality. He doesn't mind telling people how it is even if it means hurting their feelings. I spent some time on this lesson because I wanted to make him as loud as he is in his South Park form. I think you will enjoy drawing a realistic version of Cartman even if you have a bit of complexity with recreating his realistic image. As you can see I drew him drinking some pop, eating popcorn, and even some donuts. I shall return so stick around.
