Heat is something that makes the human body feel relaxed, comfy and warm. Because the winter has left us all and Spring has arrived, I have decided to do a tutorial on how to draw a fireplace step by step. Fireplaces are sometimes beautiful structures that add design and warmth in houses. They are highly sought after especially when looking for a new home to buy or rent. They help heat homes as well as add relaxation and romance. Learning how to draw a fireplace is something that is really easy and simple to do. I drew out a simple lined fireplace that anybody can tackle with ease. People started using fireplaces during the 1700's when a man named Abraham Darby used a smelting technique which he proved to produce heat very efficiently. Even though the use of a fire burning hut was created, fireplaces didn't start taking off until the Victorian era. Did you know that Benjamin Franklin created the first free standing fireplace? It's true, Benjamin Franklin noticed that fireplaces lost a good amount of heat threw through the wall, so what he did was created and build a unit that he called a firebox known as the Franklin stove. Of course the stove wasn't flawless, the one problem that the Franklin stove had was letting air in, and letting smoke out. After some time a man by the name of David Rittenhouse used Franklin's creation and design but mad it so that the air was let in, and the smoke vented out through a chimney by building an “L” shaped stove pipe. The stove was a flabbergasted success and even though Mr. Rittenhouse made the fireplace successful, the name Franklin stove is what these units were labeled. This tutorial will show you how to draw a fireplace step by step with easy to follow steps and simple to read instructions. I hope you all have fun and remember, be creative by adding a plant or a table near your fireplace to add character. Peace out!
