How to Draw a Rocket Launcher

1

I don't know what the parts are called for a rocket launcher but I will try my best to convey what object you are drawing. Start with the barrel of the launcher like so. This is a skinny, narrow tube that the grenade gets blown from.

2

You will now draw in the actual structure for the rocket launcher like so. Along with this design you will need to draw in a pistol grip.

3

Next, add detailing to the grip, and then draw the other handle for the launcher. After all, you do need two hands to operate this machine.

4

All you have to do here is draw out both the front and rear sights along with the trigger.

5

At one end of the rocket launcher all you have to draw is the grenade which is a slender cone shape.

6

Add definition lines to the grenade like so, followed by detailing to both handles or grips, and then the metal designing on the barrel.

7

Up next and lastly, all you have to do is draw the rest of the rocket launcher's design. As you can see the right end tappers out like a horn. Erase your mistakes and guides.

8

In the end your drawing should look like the one you see here. Color in this rocket launcher and if you like you can show off your work.

Description: Yup, another weapon to add to your sketch book of arms. Again, this is a tutorial that I felt like doing because the old lesson I have on "how to draw a rocket launcher" is kind of, well, bad. This rocket launcher is much cleaner in design as well as in steps. This weapon is one of my brother's favorite military weapons because you can watch a rocket shot out from a barrel as it goes in the direction you aimed at. It's not going to be too difficult when tackling this task on drawing a launcher. So sit back and enjoy the show because here is a tut that you don't want to miss. I had a lot of fun making this rocket launcher so hopefully it helps all of you out a lot better then the old one. Peace out people.
