How to Draw a Cherry Treehow to draw a cherry tree
how to draw a cherry tree step 1

Step 1.

Start with a large circle for the guideline of the flowering blossoms that will be drawn in later. You will then draw out the shape of the cherry tree's trunk and then draw out the cherry tree branches as you see them here.

Step 2.

Now that you have the basic guidelines drawn out you will start sketching out all the limbs and flower blossoms you see here. Take your time when you do this to ensure that the flowers come out looking full and alive looking. After that are drawn out, color in your flowers.

Step 3.

This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is first start erasing all the guidelines that you drew in step one. Next detail the tree bark or trunk and then draw out the rest of the cherry tree limbs, branches and flowers. See how easy this was!

For my next tutorial wanted to do something that represented spring and the upcoming summer months. So because of that I will be showing you how to draw a cherry tree step by step. The cherry tree is a beautiful plant that grows and blooms in the spring. They are covered with pastel pink flowers when they bloom in the spring before they get their green leaves and rip red cherries. The cherry tree belongs to the Rosaceae family like the almond, peach, plum, apricot, and bird cherry tree. Cherry trees can be found in the northern hemisphere two species can be found in America, three in Europe, and all the rest of them are located in Asia. People all over the world will purposely plant and grow cherry trees just for their spring pink flower blossoms. The trees found in Asia are some of the best and well known for their flower display. Oddly I have recently found out that I too have a cherry tree that is getting ready to bloom those beautiful pink flowers. I can’t wait to see how the tree will look when in full bloom. The way I laid out the tutorial steps will help you learn how to draw a cherry tree and their blossoms with complete ease. The hardest part was drawing out all the flowers that are scattered all over the cherry tree. Flowers that bloom on this famous tree will usually grow in clusters. This is why they give off such a beautiful display. What type of tree was George Washington accused of chopping down? If you answered cherry tree you answered right. I have to go now because I still have two more lessons to submit before I get back to drawing. In the mean time why don’t you guys try this tutorial on for size to see how it comes out? As Arnold Schwarzenegger once said from the movie "Terminator" “I’ll be back”.
