How to Draw BOB from Monsters vs Aliens
DreamWorks is always coming out with awesome computer animated movies that usually end up becoming big hits. Their recent movie is in theaters right now and as a request I will teach you how to draw B.O.B. from Monsters vs. Aliens step by step. The animated character is voiced by the very funny and talented Seth Rogen who happens to be one of my favorite comedians today. B.O.B. stands for ‘Bicarbonate Ostylezene Benzonate”. He looks like a modern day blob that's translucent in contrast and a frosty blue color. B.O.B. was created from a liquid substance made from ranch dressing that was genetically injected into a plain old tomato. He is basically what you call an experiment gone wrong. One of the coolest things about B.O.B. is that he can eat anything and everything, even a whole car and it will be completely devoured and dissolved. I have not yet seen the movie but I watched a few trailers and I have to say it looks pretty darn funny. I love watching new computer generated movies because they are the funniest especially the ones from DreamWorks. B.O.B. is accompanied by his human friend that is also being held captive in the same asylum Susan Murphy which is played by Reese Witherspoon, and Dr. Cockroach who happens to be a mad scientist that accidently turned himself into a cockroach. B.O.B looks like a blue jell-o. He also has no logical sense, or anything else a brain is needed for. I know you guys will like learning how to draw B.O.B. from Monsters vs. Aliens step by step. And for the member that requested this character, this one’s for you! I will be back in a few with more drawing fun so stay tuned and keep your eyes open.

STEP 1.
This first step on how to draw B.O.B. you will start with a circle for the head and then add one circle for the eye. Next draw a vertical line down the middle and arched line off to the left side. Lastly draw a squiggly line on the bottom that will cap off B.O.B.'s body.
STEP 2.
In this next step you will start learning how to draw B.O.B's blobby body starting with the right arm. Next draw a left arm and hand followed by his blob looking body. As you can see there is a layer of blobbyness on the bottom and that needs to be drawn in.
STEP 3.
Now you will finish drawing out B.O.B's body as you see here which is very simple as you can tell. After his body is done, draw a pupil in his eye and then color it in. Add some blob wrinkles and then erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.
STEP 4.
Once your doe you should end up with an awesome drawing that looks like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color him in an icy blue color. Wow, that was fun teaching you all how to draw B.O.B. from Monsters vs. Aliens step by step.Post a comment
