Since everyone liked the last lesson on how to draw a Native American pinup girl, I figured I would do another tutorial on how to draw vintage fashion model step by step. Vintage looking woman have innocence about them which makes it almost impossible to stop looking at their faces. Sexy woman have been covering the pages of so many magazine covers, broachers, newspapers, posters, and any other printable material that is on the market today. The vintage pinup girl that I will be showing you how to draw is a blonde headed young looking babe with twirls for curls, a pair of short shorts, black thigh high nylons, and red pump platform shoes. Although the background doesn’t show it, I was trying to go for a look that takes you back into the fifties when diners were that big rave. Drawing pinup models and regular girls is somewhat easy to do because they look almost like cartoon characters but in a very sleek, and sexy way. There is a variety of different types of girls that can be used as models, there are blondes, brunettes, redheads, and even multi-colored woman that make good pinups. In this tutorial you will see how easy it is to learn how to draw vintage style people step by step. I had to use a few reference pictures to get a good seating position for my girl that I was going to draw. I suppose I could also do a tutorial on how to draw vintage children as well if you think about it. There are so many different things you could draw that holds that “old look” to it. For instance, you could learn how to draw vintage cartoons, vintage cars, vintage art, and even a vintage Barbie. If you have some ideas of a vintage character or object, just let me know and I will add it to my request list. I would like for all of you to try this lesson on how to draw vintage fashion model step by step. I will be back again so stick around.
