How to Draw Alice Cullen
Here is one of the lessons that everyone has been waiting for. Since the DVD release of the movie Twilight, so many people have been asking me to submit tutorials on their favorite characters from the movie. Once of my favorite characters is Edward (obviously) and then Jasper. I like Jasper because he is so strange and mysterious and you can see how he struggles to keep his thirst under control. But unfortunately I will not be doing a lesson on Jasper Cullen, instead I will be showing you "how to draw Alice Cullen" from Twilight step by step which is as you know Jasper's better half. Alice is a petite girl that has the capability to see into the future. But her visions are subjective which means that the future she sees can always change based on the choices that are made. In the movie, Alice Cullen is played by Ashley Greene and even though she doesn’t play a big role in the film, she is seen more than any other Cullen. I liked the movie and I think that the character of Edward Cullen is like a modern day James Dean for pop culture teen America. Alice greats and treats Bella with kindness as well as being a very happy go lucky character. Drawing Alice was a very difficult task to do because her face has so much character and detail. Her nose was my biggest challenge as well as making the colored image not look like a sketch. It took me three hours to sketch her out and color her in and in the end I love the way she came out. Now I’m not gonna sugar coat anything, if you are a novice artist it will be very challenging for you to "draw Alice Cullen" successfully. But that certainly doesn’t mean don’t try the lesson, by all means tackle this tutorial with full force until you get the result you’re looking for. Twilight is truly a memorable movie, and it is also a movie that can be watched over and over again.

STEP 1.
Start this first step by drawing out the circle shape for Alice's head and add the facial guidelines. Next draw the line of position for her neck and shoulders.
STEP 2.
You have to start sketching out the style and lining of her short razor cut hair as you see here. Now because she doesn't have long hair this should be a very easy process to do. Next, draw out the shape of her chin and jaw as well as the right side of her face. End this step by drawing a line on the left side from under her jaw to make her neck line, all the way down until you form a shoulder.
STEP 3.
As you can see you will start sketching out the right side of her hair style to finish her head off. Make sure you sketch out her bangs as well. Next draw out the eye lines using the guidelines you drew in step one. Then draw the top line of her lips. Finish off her neck and shoulder on the right side and then proceed onto the next step.
STEP 4.
In this step you will start sketching out the detailing in her hair as you can see here. Next finish the lining for her eyes and then add the pupils as well as color them in. Sketch out her nose and the bottom line of her lip. Draw the line for her necklace and add a half circle for the pendant.
STEP 5.
This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is sketch out the shape of her eyebrows and then add some shading in around her eyes. Next detail and define her lips and then add the neck bone lines. Give her some straps for her top and then finish off her necklace. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
Once you're done your sketch should come out looking like the one you see here. All you have to do is color Alice in and you have just completed this tutorial on how to draw Alice Cullen from Twilight step by step. I hope you had fun as I did teaching.Comments: Post Comment
