I'm sure many of you have played Smash Brothers Brawl, so most of you know who Pit from Kid Icarus is. He holds a bow-like weapon that can separate into two swords. He even has the ability to fly.

STEP 1.
We start by drawing a blade shape. This is one end of the bow.
STEP 2.
Now we add the arm, hand and other end of the bow. On Pit's arm, there is a golden cuff. Make sure you have this, because it adds detail to his arm, where otherwise it would just be a stick reaching out.
STEP 3.
Now, we add an inner shape on the blades, and the shoulder of his robe, kilt, shirt, dress....whatever it is.
STEP 4.
Now, add the rest of his........gown. He has a sort of trimming or something on the bottom.
STEP 5.
Add the leg, next. he has sandals and some sort of cuff with an X extending off it. I know, you can see the pencil drawing in the back of this one. I was tracing it before, and ruined the trace of the pencil drawing. So here it is.
STEP 6.
Now add the other leg. My drawing makes him look double jointed or something, but you get the idea......right?
STEP 7.
Now add the other arm. There are yellow rings AND a golden cuff. The yellow rings move on his arm I think. I'm not sure, but I think they make sure that the bow comes back to him. Once again, not sure. Kind of a guess.
STEP 8.
Now add the face. Mine doesn't really look like Pit, but once again, i think you have the idea. Don't forget, on this step, his hair does hang in front of his face a bit.
STEP 9.
Almost done. We are adding the hair now. He has a crown type thing going through it. It has leaves. It's kind of like Jesus's crown of thorns, only its leaves.
STEP 10.
We are now starting the things that make Pit Pit. The wings. They don't look like wings yet, but they will, don't worry.
STEP 11.
Finally, we finish the wings. There are 3 layers of feathers. Start with the top layer, and move down. The top layer looks better rounded, and the bottom 2 look better pointed.
STEP 12.
Your final drawing should look something like this.
