How To Draw Byakuya
Everyone knows that I am a big time Bleach fan and I have made a deal with myself to draw as many Bleach characters I can and submit them as tutorials on DragoArt. As you obviously know by now I submitted a lesson today on how to draw Hollow Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach and that was a big hit with you guys and so far everyone seems to like how he came out. Now this next character is another favorite of mine and I absolutely love the way he came out. The colors I used made this animated figure look like he was in dreamland or something. So without further ado let me teach you "how to draw Byakuya" Kuchiki the 6th Captain from Bleach, step by step. For those of you that are not familiar with this character either because you don’t watch the show, or because you just picked up the anime/manga series, I will tell you a little something about Byakuya. First off he is a Soul Reaper that is the 28th head of the Kuchiki clan. The Kuchiki clan is only one of the four families in Soul Society. His character portrays him as being somewhat of an aristocrat but the truth is he is carries a deep conflict with himself. Even though he carries this burden he still remains very calm even when he is in a battle, and it is almost nearly impossible to catch him off guard and surprise him. Byakuya’s temperament now that he is older is the total opposite from when he was younger. Back in his younger years his temper was easily fused, and he was also very stubborn and. believing in truth and justice, he tries to keep his society filled with peace and harmony. I love drawing anime characters especially when they are characters that I love watching in a series. The whole tutorial from start to finish took me three hours and to me that is pretty quick. This tutorial will show you in detail "how to draw Byakuya" Kuchiki the 6th Captain from Bleach step by step. All the steps are laid out in a very clean and instructional way so that you will be able to tackle this lesson with ease. Once you are done with the full body image, I also show you how to draw Byakuya Kuchiki face and head as well. Well, time for me to go I shall return in a few so keep your seat warm and your drink cold until I return.

STEP 1.
Well as you can see this first step is all lines. I want you to draw a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw the neck line as well as the shoulder and body lines. Add the feet lines and move to the next step.
STEP 2.
For step two I want you to start sketching out the face and beginning hair lines. Next draw the eyes and then start drawing in the lining for the clothes which includes the sleeves and lower part of his clothes.
STEP 3.
In this next step you will continue to draw out the lining for his hair and then his eye. You will continue down to draw out the flared shape of his loose fitting clothes starting with his sleeve and then his long attachment to the top part of his outfit. Lastly draw out the shape of the feet and on the right leg add some wrinkled lines for his pants.
STEP 4.
You are on your way to completing this first tutorial of a two part lesson included into one. What you will need to do next is sketch out the rest of his hair and then sketch out his collar and the rest of the lining for his coat. You will detail the bottom with dash lines and then draw in a tied knot around his waist. Add crease lines as well.
STEP 5.
This is your last drawing step and what I want you to do now is just add the wrinkle and crease lines the way you see them here. Draw the straps on his shoes and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
Your finished drawing should come out looking like the one you see here. All you have to do is get out your coloring tools and shade him in. Now that you have finished learning how to Draw Byakuya Kuchiki the 6th Captain From Bleach step by step, you can move to the second part of this two part series.
STEP 7.
You will draw a medium sized circle for his head shape and then add the facial guidelines the way you see them here along with the neck line.
STEP 8.
Now that you have a frame to work with you can now start drawing the shaping of his head as you see here. Next draw out the pointed like hair style he has on the bottom of his semi-long hair. Draw out the shape of his face and then draw the eyes which are anime/manga style. Draw pupils and then leave a white mark behind to add the gloss look. Draw out the neck and then move down.
STEP 9.
Continue to draw out the hair in chunks and then the side head lines for his hair. Draw an ear shape and then the lining for his top.
STEP 10.
For your last drawing step you will finish off his hair design and then detail the inside of his ear. Add eyebrow lines and then his lips. Detail the shoulder and then start erasing the guidelines and shapes.
STEP 11.
