Here is one of those lessons I was talking about when I said I had two lessons that I am proud of drawing. This is my take on "how to draw a lioness", step by step. I didn't want my lioness to be just sitting in an upright pose. Instead I wanted to draw her laying down relaxing in a brush as she gazes upon something moving in front of her. What is this something? Who knows. It could be her cubs at play, other lionesses doing something, or she could be getting ready to get up to go after a meal. I will leave that part to the imagination because I know there is so many things that this lioness could be doing. The drawing style is very clean and portioned. Even though it's colored in a cartoon look, I still wanted that realistic feel to be part of the image and line art. I think you will be happy with this lesson on drawing a lioness. Stick around because I do have more on the way. Peace out.
