Okay as you can see you will be drawing a box shape for the shaping of the car. Once that is done add a series of guidelines inside of the box and these will be used to draw out the body and frame of this sports car.

In this next step you will start drawing out the windshield, the tail end, the wheel wells, and then side and front frame of the car. Once you have done this you are ready to move to the next step.

Now that you have reached step three you will start sketching out the detailing lines on the hood of the car. You will start by drawing out the fender lines and then the hood lines. After that, draw out the light well holding spots as well as the gri

Wow you have come so far already so let’s go the distance by drawing out the circle shapes of both tires on the left side. Once you do that draw out the rim design and then the rest of the cars body and shape. As you can see the Trans-Am has t-tops

You have made it to your last drawing step and if you have been taking your time you should be doing a great job. All you have to do here is finish off the lining work for the firebird and then define the shape of the front lights. Add some brief def

Description: I hope you all liked my last lesson on how to draw Albert Einstein step by step. What I will be showing you next is "how to draw a Trans-Am", step by step. My sole reason for this tutorial is because my uncle had a 1979 Firebird that was all black with a gold firebird painted on the hood. It also had tan interior, t-tops, leather upholstered seats, a knocking sound system and some pretty sweet wheels. Of course he had the Firebird totally decked to look like a classic model and it totally was except it had all modern parts to make the car look superior. The 1979 Trans-Am was one of the most sought after cars back in the late seventies throughout the late eighties. As time goes on this Pontiac model car is becoming more and more popular the same way Mustangs, Cadillacs, and even Lincolns are. During 1979 sports cars were being built without any chrome on the cars whatsoever. The only thing these cars had shinning was their paint job and their aluminum ally wheels. When choosing a picture to reference I wanted it to look as close to my uncle’s car as possible, so what I did was ask my Uncle for permission to take a picture of his car so that I could use it as a reference tool. I only drove in his car twice and both times was absolutely fun. The car has such a monstrous sound to it and it hugs the road with total ease. The Firebird Trans-Am was also built with a very sporty look and that is what probably made them so popular. The three nicest colors for these cars is red, white, and black. There was a tan model that looked good but it was too boring and made this beautiful car dull. I know you guys will have a lot of fun learning "how to draw a Trans-Am", step by step. Like with all the other lessons, the steps are simple to follow and the steps are easy to read. All you have to do is sketch it out and color it in. I will be back with more drawing fun in a bit so stay tuned kiddies, I shall return.
