How to Draw Ellie from The Last of Us

Start off by making a shape for the head, then draw out the outline for the torso. Attach the two together by adding a neck line, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Instead of drawing out her face first, sketch in her short, razor like style. Sketch in the hair detailing like so, then add some thickness to the ends of the hair.

Sketch out the shape of the face, then proceed to step four.

Now that the face shape and hair is sketched in, you will draw out the eyebrows first, then sketch out the shapes of Ellie's eyes. Draw the nose, and her plump full lips. Also add some lining to form the chin ball.

Sketch out the shape of the neck, then draw in her shirt collar and some of the hair behind her neck.

You will draw the shoulders next, followed by the baggy sleeves and arms. Draw in the straps for her backpack, then add detailing to the clothing.

Lastly, all you have to do is draw the picture on her t-shirt which is some palm trees on a beach. Add more detailing like the holes on her shirt near the neck, and more crease and fold lines. Erase the mistakes then you're done.

Description: I keep getting requests for a few characters from a new game called The Last of Us. I have never heard of the game, but if I keep getting people request the main characters of the series, I bet it must be good. Here is the first figure from The Last of Us, "how to draw Ellie", step by step. From what I understand Ellie is a playable character that is only fourteen years old. Now just because she is fourteen, that doesn't mean she is like most teenagers her age. Ellie happens to be pretty mature which makes her an interesting member of the game. As the story goes Ellie grew up in a camp on a military zone for people who are being quarantined for the fungal outbreak that had spread through the country. There is more about her bio background but I don't need to get into that further since she is already a character that has a story from the game. For those of you that requested her, have fun drawing Ellie from The Last of Us.
