How to Draw a Thorned Heart
Hello once again fellow artist and welcome back to another awesome lesson here on DragoArt.com. Today I will start with a tutorial that is fun, beautiful, and full of sadness. So right now I will show you how to draw a thorned heart step by step. Now I placed this lesson under the tattoo category because it is a common design seen on the backs, arms, shoulders, and legs of many women who love body art. A heart wrapped with a thorn from the vine of a red rose is a very beautiful thing. It reminds me of a heart full of love that is being pierced by hurt and pain. Drawing tattoo art is a fun way to design your very own creations using just your imagination and knowledge of pop culture. I know that this is going to be a popular lesson that many of you artist will enjoy because not only are you going to learn how to draw a heart, you will also learn how or draw a rose and it’s thorned stem which wraps around the heart leaving it to bleed. This lesson will show you how to draw a thorned heart step by step. Now all the instructions are easy to read and the steps are simple to follow. STEP 1.
You are about to start your first step on this beautiful rose. What you will do first is draw a circle for the shape of the rose. Once you have done that you will draw out the guidelines for the rose pedals and then the bottom shape of the heart.
STEP 2.
Now what you will do for your second step is start adding the beginning lines for the rose pedals and then shape out the leaves. Now make sure that you add spiked edges on the belly of the leaves because that is what they look like when they are from a rose. Once that is done draw out the shape of the heart and then move to the next step.
STEP 3.
You have reached your third step and what you will do now is start adding more pedal lines for the rose then finish the shapes of the leaves. You will then draw the stem of the rose wrapped around the heart as shown.
STEP 4.
Now that you have reached step four you will start seeing your rose look more like a flower. Draw more pedal lines to fill up the shape of the rose. Now that the rose is almost finished you will thicken the shape of the stem and add some thorns on the stem under the flower as you see here. Once you have done that you can move to the next step.
STEP 5.
Well this is your last drawing step and here you will finish off the shape and lining of the rose pedals. Detail the inside of the leaves which is the ribs and then draw out the shapes of the thorns on the vine of the rose. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and proceed onto the finished line art.
STEP 6.
Now that you have erased all the guidelines and shapes your drawing should look like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color your work in and then you have finished this tutorial on how to draw a thorned heart step by step.Comments: Post Comment
