How To Draw Harvey Dent, Harvey Dent

1

Prior to becoming the criminal mastermind, Two Face, Harvey Dent was the peacekeeping District Attorney of Gotham City. He had a regal persona and handsome features, as portrayed by Aaron Eckhart. It was not until after his accident that his face was

2

Harvey Dent's signature accessory is his two sided trick coin. Each side features a liberty head. After he became Two Face, one side of the coin became scratched and damaged, a perfect reflection of he himself had become.

3

In the film, Dent's weapon of choice is a Smith and Wesson Model 64 handgun. It's a six-shooter, short barrel pistol. It is silver plated with a black handle.

4

To draw Harvey Dent, we should first sketch in some basic construction lines. Use a 2H or harder pencil and draw very lightly. Sketch a basic stick figure shape standing such as this one, with the right arm bent upwards at the elbow. These lines don'

It's a good idea to draw the basic human form over the construction guides. Doing this will help ensure that the figure is proportionate when we apply clothing later on. You don't have to worry about details such as fingers or facial features, but it

I will zoom in so you can take a closer look at the face. Let's begin with the right hand side of Harvey Dent's face which is normal and undamaged. Draw the eye squinting slightly, and be sure that the pupil and iris are perfect circles. Draw the eye

7

Now begins the really fun part! Draw the damaged side of Dent's face. His eyebrow is completely burnt off. His left eyelids are gone, making his eye large and round. Be sure that the pupil is facing the exact same direction as the right pupil, howeve

8

Draw the contours of the head. Dent has a somewhat cleft chin, but the left side of his chin and head should be bumpy and imperfect.

9

Dent only has half a head of hair, which is of course on his right side. Draw the hair beginning at the top of the head, combed over to the right. It should be covering his right ear.

10

Finish the face by drawing burn marks all over his left side. Draw large patches of exposed bone and muscles beneath the charge flesh. Take your time in drawing the texture. Make it random and messy. Just make sure that it is perfectly down the cente

11

Let's start making our way down the body. Draw the neck and collar. The left side of his neck should also be burned. He should have neatly folded collar with the knot of a tie in the middle.

12

Draw the rest of the tie which should be hanging down to his waist. Draw horizontal stripes in the tie for a pattern. Be sure the stripes on the knot face the opposite direction.

13

Now draw the torso of his jacket. It can be unbuttoned , but be sure to draw a couple of buttons beneath the lapel. Draw a pocket on the left side.

14

Draw his right arm bent upwards as he will be holding his gun. The forearm will be covering most of the upper arm from this angle. The fingers of his hand should be curled since they will be wrapped around the gun handle. The index finger should be s

15

Draw the handgun pointing upwards. From this angle, we should be looking at the bottom of the gun.

16

Let's draw the left arm hanging at his side. The sleeve of the arm should be very wrinkles as it is damaged. He can be holding his coin in his hand.

17

When drawing the legs, the right leg should be sticking out closer to us than the right. Draw a few folds in the fabric as well as a crease down the front of the right leg. The crease should not be visible on the left leg.

18

Now draw his dress shoes. Because of our perspective, the left foot will appear higher than the right. The right foot should be pointing towards us, the left should be pointing to the side.

19

Go back to the suit and draw burn marks all over the left side of the jacket. Draw some burn marks on the upper part of the left leg as well. These burn marks can be larger than the ones on the face, but they should still be random and messy.

20

Now that we are done penciling the image, we can ink it using a Micron marker or a brush and India ink. Carefully go over each line with patience and be sure not to accidentally ink any unneeded guide lines. Use a fine tipped micron to ink the burn m

You can add more depth to the image by giving it shadow. Establish your light source and use black ink or a fat tipped black marker to shade the opposite side of the figure and every clothing wrinkle and fold. Shade random edges of burn marks, primar

If you need to make any corrections, use white ink or opaque white paint. You can also use it to add highlights if needed. And that is how you draw Harvey Dent as Two Face from The Dark Knight. The greatest villain ever!
