How to Draw a Cartoon Alien
I hope you all liked the first tutorial I submitted on how to draw a baby girl. For my second lesson I will show you how to draw a cartoon alien step by step. Now I know I already submitted an alien character in the past but that was from the movie “Alien”. I wanted to do a lesson on an alien that would be easy for anyone to draw but cute enough to look at as well. There are a lot of new artist here that are just starting out learning how to draw. And because of that, this lesson on how to draw a cartoon alien, will help you draw a very easy typical looking creature that is talked about in sci-fi books as well as real life. I mean how many stories out there mention “being abducted from an extra terrestrial”? Tons, that’s how many. Don’t get me wrong, I am not going to sit here and say that these people that say they have been examined or probed by alien life form are liars because to tell you the truth, you never know. Do you realize how big our universe is? There is thousands of galaxies up there and to sit and say that we here on earth are the only ones that are alive and functional is a bit ignorant. But as you know I’m somewhat of a weirdo and because I am a weirdo I am allowed to say crazy things. Anyways, this tutorial will show you an easy way to learn how to draw a cartoon alien step by step. The steps and instructions are easy to follow and understand so you should little or no problem tackling this lesson with ease. I shall return again with some more drawing fun so like always stick around and see what comes up next!

STEP 1.
Okay as you can see by the finished drawing, this lesson is going to be fairly simple. All you have to do in this first step is draw out a circle for the head and then add the shape for it's torso. You will then connect the head to the torso with a neck line and then add the leg lines.
STEP 2.
Now in this next simple step you will add the top lines for the large bug like eyes that these aliens have. Once that is done draw out the arms, hands, legs, and feet. Nothing special just some typical cartoony looking limbs.
STEP 3.
Well you have now reached your third step and all you will have to do here is finish the shaping of his eyes and then draw out the shape of his lower face and thickness of his neck. You will then draw out the arms. You can then erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 4.
Once you're done you should have an alien that looks like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color him in and then you have just learned how to draw a cartoon alien step by step.Post a comment

it kinda took me a while,, i had to erase A LOT. but i guess it turned out pretty good
