Let us begin. Sketch out the outlined guide for Jesus' face then add the facial guidelines.

Here you will use the guide and sketch out the structure of Jesus' face as well as sketch in the beard and hair lining.

Jesus' head is tilted back a bit so when you draw the eyes they are going to look like they are rolling back. Sketch out the shapes of his eyes, then sketch in the fine lined eyebrows. When that is done color in the pupils, and add definition around

Continue on with Jesus' face by sketching out the tiled back nose. His nostrils will be exposed so you will have to color those in. Sketch in the lining for his beard and mustache, then add definition to the cheeks. Before leaving this step you will

For the last drawing step you will begin the most difficult task of the lesson. Drawing the crown of thorns. Start with drawing six thick bold lines across the top part of Jesus' head. They should end up looking like they are wrapped around the foreh

Description: Here is one for the books. I have been really getting into some tattoo art lately and I know it's like a seasonal thing because every year around this same time I start going crazy with drawing tattoo art. This design you see before you now is actually something I have been wanting to do for quite sometime. There was a few ideas that I had as to how I would pull it off, but in the end I came up with the idea to make a traditional looking Jesus drawn in his state of sorrow. Here is "how to draw crown of thorns", step by step. Jesus' crown of thorns was given and placed on him by a solider. Here is a verse from the bible that explains what happened; "Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorian and gathered the whole garrison around Him, and they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, 'Hail, King of the Jews!" That is from Matthew 27:27-29. So there it is, now you know how special I wanted to make this lesson because of the torture Jesus went through. Drawing the crown of thorns will be emotional for many, exciting for some, and touching for few. There are people out there that really fret emotional when it comes to Jesus and what he stood and went through. I hope you enjoy this lesson even if you are not a religious person, Adios people.
