How to Draw Squidward
Who is the only sea creature that hates SpongeBob Squarepants? That’s right the one the only Squidward Tentacles. Squidward may hate SpongeBob and Patrick Star but those two definitely love and adore him. I know he's not a cheerful or enthusiastic sea critter, but that is why you gotta love him. He is exactly what most people are today, including me as well. Based on a fictional character that kids and adults love from Nickelodeon, Squidward is a six-legged octopus that mopes around all day. He hates his job at the Crusty Crab, he hates how cheap his boss Mr. Crabs is, and he hates his neighbors. The only thing he loves is his beautiful clarinet and painting portraits of himself, which oddly he thinks he’s the best at. I personally think Squidward is awesome because I kinda hate those people in my life too. I wanted to make a tutorial on how to draw Squidward and show just how miserable he really looks. He is probably one of my favorite cartoon characters around today online or on T.V. It’s not hard to learn how to draw Mr. Tentacles at all. It’s like only a few easy steps and boom you’re done. I used the picture from my wallpaper on my desktop to give me a good image to work with. Anyway I know you’ll find it easy to draw Squids after all he’s just a standing, talking octopus that lives under the sea.

STEP 1.
Okay first we have to prepare his hot dog looking face with two oblong circles. One goes across and the other is going down.
STEP 2.
Next make the frame for his lanky body and his stale looking shirt. A straight line going down the middle and a regular shirt sketch is good.
STEP 3.
Now start sketching out his big depressed looking eyes and the two stress wrinkles he has on his forehead. Also sketch his longs arms with his hands folded back as seen above.
STEP 4.
See his sad looking face already. Draw a half bell shape starting from under squidwards eyes and up and under his nose. Before leaving this step make two long square shapes for his pupils, a collar on his shirt and the sides of his legs.
STEP 5.
What we do here is put that frown on his face and make four of his six feet.
STEP 6.
Now at this point you can go ahead and erase the sketching lines around Squidward and draw the suction cups on the bottom of his tentacles or another words his feet.
STEP 7.
Whala your done here you have Squidward Tentacles. Now just color him in and your done.Post a comment
