This next tutorial is going to be on how to draw Linkin Park symbol step by step. Now this band is one of my favorite music performers on my top ten lists. Now this is an American rock band that was formed out of California by Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Rob Bourdon back in 1996 and all three kids were high school friends. Their first album labeled “Hybrid Theory” consisted of songs like “Crawling” and “One Step Closer” was two of their all time famous songs. They were so famous it lead to the album selling more than 4.8 million copies, became 2001’s bestselling album. Hybrid Theory was nominated for three Grammy Awards which included best new artist, rock album, and hard rock performance for their song “Crawling”. That song right there was probably one of the main reasons why I fell in love with Linkin Park. Their next album would prove to be a repeat success and make the band called Linkin Park not just another “one hit wonder”. The release of their next album called “Meteora” contains songs like “Somewhere I Belong”, “Numb”, and “Breaking the Habit”. When Linkin Park came out they were competing with the sounds of other bands making their mark in history like Limp Bizkit, Deftones (which only had two songs that I liked), Hoobastank, and Stained. Linkin Park was and still is considered to be a new form of metal mixed with rap rock. The bands image and style has changed slightly over time but essentially stayed the same. Their sound is a little less intense which basically means that they toned down a lot which is not always a bad thing. I mean look at music artists like Madonna, Brittney Spears, and Janet Jackson. They all changed their image and sound to go with the times. This is a brilliant band that I still listen to till this day. Believe it or not I enjoy listening to their old stuff more than their new because there is more passion and intense noise coming from the other side of the mic. This tutorial will show you how to draw Linkin Park emblem step by step. I shall return in a while with more drawing fun so stay tuned gang there is more on the way.
