How to Draw Charizard
Well I am back again today with another drawing tutorial that I think you members will like and enjoy. For my first lesson of the day I will be showing you how to draw Charizard from Pokemon step by step. Now, I was a humongous fan of Pokemon when I was younger and Charizard was one of my favorite characters in the Pokemon series. He is an evolution from Charmeleon and he has fire and flying abilities that advance within stages. Now at first glance you would think that Charizard is a regular looking Western Dragon if you didn’t know who he was and what cartoon (if any) he came from. This is one of the big reasons why he was one of my favorite species of Pokemon. Even though he looks scary with his facial features and size, if owned by the right kind of Pokemon trainer (like Ash) you will have nothing to fear because the Charizard would be friendly and approachable. Now the Charizard specie come in a reddish-orange color and even sometimes come in purple and black colored skin as well. Not only does Charizard have fantastic pyrokinetic abilities, this Pokemon species have insane wing strength which enables them to fly forty five hundred feet above ground. The fire or flame that comes from their mouth gets so hot that it can melt virtually anything that the flames come in contact with. It is already known that Ash’s Charizard was the main powerhouse out of all his Pokemon which is why I think, he became so popular. This tutorial will show you how easy it is to learn how to draw Charizard from Pokemon step by step. I have laid out the steps in a very simple to read and understand layout so that you will have little or no problems understanding what your next step should be. I know that there are plenty of you out there that enjoy watching Pokemon which airs on Cartoon Network and I’m pretty sure it’s on every morning in the US that is. So let me stop chatting about this awesome Pokemon character and let you get started with drawing him out. I will be back with more so stay tune all you artist out there.

STEP 1.
Okay this whole lesson has a total of five steps and all of them are pretty basic. What you will be doing first is drawing out the small circle shape for Charizard's head and then add another circle for his torso or abdomen. You will then draw out the outline for his wing and then the limb lines for the arm, hands, legs and feet as well as the tail.
STEP 2.
In this next step start drawing out the shape of his open mouth which includes his snout and bottom jaw. You will then sketch out the thickness of his neck and then shape out his wing which at this point looks like a bat's wing. You will then draw out his clinched clawed hands that have two fingers and one thumb. End this step by adding the shape of his thigh that is shaped in a sitting position.
STEP 3.
Well kids you have made it to step three and I already know that you are doing a fantastic job. What you will start doing first on this step is drawing out the inside of the roof of his mouth and add a total of four teeth. Next shape out his eye a bit more and then draw out the remaining shape of his horns. You will draw another line to thicken the back of his neck and then draw the inline on his wing to separate the tissue from the bone. Next shape up the arms and add lines to define the claws on both the hands and feet, and then draw out his tail in more detail and depth.
STEP 4.
Hey guys guess what? You have made it to your last drawing step which is pretty sweet huh? What you will do here is add an eyeball and then detail the roof of Charizard's mouth. Draw out the wing on the left and detail it as well and then add some skin definition to his neck, knees and tail. Add the rest of the claw definition line on his right foot and then finish off the shape of his tail and cap it with flames. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and proceed onto the finished work.
STEP 5.
Once you are done your Pokemon Charizard should come out looking like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color him in and you will really be done at learning how to draw Charizard from Pokemon step by step.Comments: Post Comment
