1

Start with two shapes, one for the head and the other for the body.

2

Here you will draw out the fuzzy shape of the ducklings head, followed by the adorable beak.

3

Next, draw a seed shaped eye, then add some gloss on the eye as well.

4

Bows used on Easter ducks are loose and floppy. Draw the ribbon that is around the neck followed by the large bow. Add detailing to the bow then sketch in some fluff on the chest.

5

Sketch out the body, then draw in the wing, and tiny thighs. Make sure that the body is sketched out in a feather manner.

6

Lastly, draw in the ducklings legs and flat feet. Add detailing then you're done. Erase all your mistakes as well as the guides.

7

Look how cute the Easter duckling looks when you are finished. Color it in to perfection.

Description: How freaking adorable is the duck you see before you now? I know what you're thinking, this duck is so vibrant and the yellow is so rich. This is a drawing that takes me back to my childhood because these types of ducks used to decorate the covers those Goldwyn Meyer books in the stores. This lesson will show you "how to draw an Easter duck", step by step. Chicks are not the only animals that are associated with Easter. Baby ducks are also given as gifts and are even sometimes cuter then chicks. I really did like making this drawing and coloring it was fun too. If there is something you would like to see for Easter just let me know. Adios people and happy Easter.
