1

Draw the circle for the head, then draw the shape for the egg and body.

2

You will now begin drawing the actual structure of the chick's head which is round and chubby. Draw the small wing, then move to step three.

3

Add some feathery fuzz on top of the chicks head, then draw two eyes and color them in. You will also need to draw the small triangular beak too.

4

Here you will draw the left or right wing, followed by the large bow under the chin. Draw the pointed shards to form the cracked open egg, then add detailing to the bow tie.

5

Draw the rest of the egg shape, then sketch in the cracks on the egg shell. Erase all the mistakes and then the guides.

6

You now have an adorable baby chick to color in for Easter. Enjoy the chick people.

Description: It's March folks which means I have to start submitting lessons on stuff related to Easter. Here is my first for the day; "how to draw an Easter chick", step by step. Chicks and baby ducks are often bought and given as gifts during the Easter holiday. Not only are they a strong sign that Spring has arrived, they are also one of the first animals that farmers of folks who raise chickens start to buy. I love the way that this chick came out because it has that deep yellow color with the slightly dark pastel blue shade for the background color. Drawing an Easter chick will prove to be one of the cutest things you draw today. Enjoy people and be sure to comment, rate, or fav.
