How to Draw Billy Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel
This next tutorial of the day is going to be on a singer that is making his way to fame and fortune, well at least to me anyway. The portrait I will show you how to draw is going to be on how to draw Billy Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel step by step. The reason why I chose to do this character is because he was a request by a DragoArt member, and because he has a very unique look to him. When I first heard of the band Tokio Hotel, I went to watch a few videos of them on Youtube. The minute I saw the members of the band I thought that they all looked cool in a very fashionable way. Now I am not going to get into detail about Billy Kaulitz because I am uploading another tutorial on the band logo when I am through with this description and lesson. Now when I was sketching out this Tokio Hotel band member I didn’t want him to look too girly like he does in real life. I mean seriously, he looks like a girl because of his hair and dark eyeliner make-up. I know what you are saying “that is his trademark, the dark eyeliner and crazy looking hair”. I personally think it is very stylish but if you didn’t know who Billy Kaulitz was you would think that you are looking at a girl. Tokio Hotel is a band based out of Germany and has been entertaining since 2001. Billy Kaulitz is responsible for the bands formation along with his identical twin brother. I will leave it at that and pick up where I leave off on the next tutorial of the bands logo. This lesson will show you how to draw Billy Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel step by step. I will be back in a bit but for now try this lesson out and see how good you can do. Peace out people.

STEP 1.
Okay start this first step by drawing out the guidelines and shape of the head frame. First draw a circle for the head and add the facial guidelines. You will then draw a long straight line for the neck and a straight slanted horizontal line for the shoulders.
STEP 2.
Now that the shapes are drawn out it is time to start adding the lining of the face and hair. As you know Billy has wicked wild looking hair almost like an afro. So because of that his hair will be taking up most of the space on your sheet of paper. Draw out the outline shape for his hair along with the part line. Once that is done use the facial guidelines to draw out the almond shaped eyes and then sketch out the shape of his face and nose.
STEP 3.
Well you are already on step three and that means you are almost done with your portrait sketch of this Tokio Hotel singer. What you will do now is as some sketching detailing lines for his hair to make it have that crazy look. Give him some hair that crosses over the left side of his forehead as seen here. Once that is complete sketch out the shape of his eyes, lips, definition for his chin, and the bridge of his nose. You will then add a neck and some shirt lines.
STEP 4.
Well you have reached the last drawing or sketching step. All you will do here is sketch out the hair strands on Billy's head. Your goal is to make his hair look full and fluffy. Once you are done with his hair you will sketch out and color in his eyebrows which is pretty thick. Add his eyebrow ring and then shade around the eyes and color in his eyeballs. Detail around his nose and mouth and erase all the guidelines you drew in step one. The finished cleaned up sketch should come out looking like the main image.
STEP 5.
Once you are done your sketch should come out looking like the one you see here. This is the sketch at it's finished step without being cleaned up.
