1

Make two circles which also end up looking like crossed over rings.

2

Using the guides draw in the beginning shape of the cuffs. These are clamp like devices that close without a key, but require a key to reopen. Once end of the handcuffs should be serrated.

3

Add detailing to the handcuff like so, as well as draw in the typical key whole. You will also need to color it in.

4

Draw the other cuff the same way you did the first one. Take your time so it comes out right.

5

Again, detail the cuff then draw and color in the key hole.

6

Lastly, draw out the chain, then you can choose to color the chain in, or leave it plain. Erase the mistakes and guides as well.

7

Here is how your cuffs look when you are all done. Now just use them or color them in.

Description: “Put your hands behind your back then place them in back of your head!”. I'm really surprised that I haven't seen any lessons by other artists, or myself on "how to draw handcuffs", step by step. These handcuffs have a nice finish which is why they are nice and shinny. Even though police officers, and other officers carry these entrapping cuffs, we too can own a pair a cuffs as well. I wanted to keep things simple, but also exciting to replicate. The handcuffs are side by side, and have the chain linked to both. The background looks awesome against the silver color. Drawing handcuffs will prove to be fun and useful. I shall return in a few folks so keep the pencils moving.
