Okay, so this one is a request from Emmyd, how to draw Turtwig! Sorry about the wait, I hope this makes up for it :) Obviously Turtwig is mostly known for being the grass starter pokemon in the diamond and pearl games.

STEP 1.
Okay, let's simply start with a circle and a few simple guidelines to indicate where the features will be.
STEP 2.
Now the first thing to do is to mark out the shape of the head and jaw. note how the jaw line starts at the top guideline, then falls along the bottom guideline, dips down below it, then comes back up to finish midway between the two guidelines.
STEP 3.
Secondly, let's draw in Turtwig's features. The eyes at the first guideline level and the nose is midway between the two. note how the stem on Turtwig's head is the same length as the leaves.
STEP 4.
next, draw in the zig-zag lines across the top of the head, and the two most prominent legs, using the guidelines as an indication of the curve of the back leg.
STEP 5.
Lastly, draw in the raised and mostly hidden back leg. Use the guidelines to help you. You can also draw in the details of the feet and the partially obscured shell.
STEP 6.
