1

Draw the outline of a rounded diamond shape like so. This will be the guide for your glacier.

2

Sketch out the rough edging to form a huge ice chunk. The line pattern should be just that, rough.

3

Next, start sketching out the surface texture which is rocky and crooked lined. You will be making layers for your glacier.

4

Continue to sketch out more patches to add a nice layer of texture to this chunk of an icy rock.

5

Finish drawing the cracks to complete the Glacier. When you're done you can erase any mistakes that you made.

6

Here is what your ice glacier looks like when you're done. Color it in and then you're done.

Description: Alright kiddies, time for another drawing lesson! If there’s anything that icy figures remind me of, it’s the story about the ‘Titanic’. In this lesson, I will show you "how to draw an iceberg". Though, I named this tutorial a glacier, I've decided to show you what a glacier/iceberg would look like at the top as well as underwater. Just the concept of the glacier alone, gives me chills. Knowing that these ice figures have so much more than meets the eye. This tutorial should give you very easy to draw steps in order to successfully create a glacier drawing. Make sure you have your pencil, paper and eraser handy. Don’t forget to draw the first step lightly so you won’t have any tracks of guides when you erase to ink. With that being said, I hope you will enjoy this one! I had fun working on this and hopefully you will too. Peace and love, don’t forget to let me know what you’d like to see next.
