How to Draw Anime Kids, Step by Step, Anime Females, Anime, Draw Japanese Anime, Draw Manga, FREE Online Drawing Tutorial, Added by Dawn, January 10, 2009, 9:30:30 pm

Okay this first step is fairly simple. All you have to do is draw two circles and add the facial guidelines. The next thing you will do is draw the body's line of position as seen here. Once that is done add two vertical lines that are spaced out pretty good.

STEP 2.

Now that you have a basic frame of the two anime kids you will draw out the shape of the cheek and jaw lines. Next draw out the lining for their eyes top lid only. Next draw the lining for their arched backs and then their arms and legs. Once you have done that you are ready to draw out the shape of sour's feet on the left and then sweet's skirt on the right.

STEP 3.

Now you are ready to sketch out the hair style of both anime kids. The girl on the left has shorter hair than the girl on the right. Once that is done draw out the shape of the eyes on sweet's face and then you can start drawing out their bodies. Make sure you give sour pants and sweet regular legs and feet. Add some toe lines and then the shape of the arms on the right.

STEP 4.

Now it is time to finish the sketching of the hair of sour which is wild and free. Once that is done you will add the lines for the bottom lids of sour's eyes. After that finish off the shapes of the arms and hands and then start sketching in the detail to sweet's hair as shown to you here. Draw and color in the eyeballs on sweet and then add her jewelry. Give sour a belt and collar line and then add the knee detail for sweet and then the line for her tight pants.

STEP 5.

This is the last drawing step and all you will do here is add the finishing details and definition to the anime kids. Finish off the eyes on the left and then add the fish net lines on her arms and stomach. Once that is done you can add the vertical lines on her tight pants. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

STEP 6.

This is what the girls should look like when you are done. All you have to do now is color them in and you have just learned how to draw anime kids step by step. I hope you had fun with this lesson.

I made a combonation of these two :) It's the "bad" girls face and shirt ( minus the fishnet but the tummy still shows) with the "good" girls eyes, mouth, and skirt. For the hair I used the bad girls minus the spikey part and addded a special ponytail to the top right (looks kinda like a spikey flower) the only problem I'm having with this is that I can't incorporate the legs very easily- oh well :D

Artist CommentsNow that I have submitted some lessons today that were pretty sweet, it is time for me to submit some more tutorials that I think you will all enjoy. In this next lesson I will show you how to draw anime kids step by step. I wanted to complete the series of drawing all different types of anime characters whether it be male, female, couples, or kids. These anime kids that I sketched out came out so cool. The funny thing is, when I was drawing them out it wasn’t until the very end I came out with the idea of making one bad and one good, or as I call it sweet and sour. The girl on the left has black hair with a streak of orange, and the girl on the right has red hair with some streaks of gold. I had such an awesome time drawing out and creating these two anime kids. When I decided to color them I wanted their clothes to be fun and colorful as well as the two female characters. Although they may look hard to draw these anime girls are fairly simple to draw. I will show you how easy it is to learn how to draw anime kids step by step. The instructions are easy to follow and the steps are simple to understand. I will be back with more drawing fun in a bit so stay tuned folks there is more on the way. And remember when coloring your girls, be creative and add your own style.
