How to Draw a Border Collie

1

Let us begin by drawing the shape of the head, then draw the shape of the neck. You will add the facial guide, as well as the bean like shape of the body.

2

Sketch out the shape of the dog's nose or snout, then sketch out the hairy flopping ears. Add some chest hair, then move to step three.

3

Sketch out the back part of the neck as well as the shape of the cheek or jawbone. Notice the lining is drawn in a long stroke because collies have long coats. Draw the eye as well as the nose tip.

4

Make the marking line on the snout.

5

Sketch out the chest, then draw the front legs and paws.

6

Finish drawing out the rest of the border collies body, then sketch out the thick fluffy tail. You will also need to draw the back paws too.

7

Lastly, draw the markings on the collies coat, and when you do this make sure the lining is hairy. Erase your mistakes then you're done.

8

Here is what the line art looks like. Color in your border collie to the shades you like.
