Well guys, enough with the Germans. Let’s move on with a great Englishmen that has changed our way of learning and thinking for all time. Today, we will learn "how to draw Isaac Newton", step by step. To start let me say that Isaac Newton was born on Christmas day which is December 25, 1642. He was born prematurely, and it was said that he was so small; he actually fit in a quart size cup. Unfortunately Newton was born fatherless because he died just three months before he was born. By the time Isaac was three his mother had remarried and moved away. She left Isaac in the care of his grandmother because he despised his stepfather with a passion. By the time he was twelve he started attending The King's School located in Grantham until he was about seventeen. Newton’s mother sent for him when he was still seventeen because she was widowed once again and she wanted her son to work the farm and become a farmer. Of course Isaac hated farming so that didn't go too well with him. If it wasn't for Henry Stokes, a master at King’s School, Isaac would have been stuck on a farm with his mother. Mr. Stokes conveyed to Hannah (Isaac’s mother) that it would be beneficial to the boy if he were to finish his education. His mother agreed and he ended up being the top student in King’s School. At one point Isaac Newton was seen by a psychologist and he said that he was positive that Isaac suffered from Asperger syndrome. Once 1661 rolled around he was already in collage as he attended Trinity College in Cambridge. It was there that he began learning the studies of Aristotle. He used Aristotle’s findings mixed with other philosophers of his day like Descartes, Copernicus, Galileo, and Kepler. In 1665 Newton made a discovery and started to develop his mathematical theory that became infinitesimal calculus. From his discovery he began developing theories on optics, and the law of gravitation using calculus. Needless to say Sir Isaac Newton is the greatest and most decorated scientist that has ever lived. His works as a physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist and theologian is used, and will be used for all time. He is also the father of the three laws of motion so the next time you want to know who is responsible for a majority of scientific discoveries, you know Isaac Newton is it. I do hope you enjoy drawing Isaac Newton as I did recreating him. Enjoy people and good luck.

STEP 2.

We will then draw the actual structure of his round head and face like so, then incorporate the curls that brush his face on the right or left side. Make a dimple chin indent, then proceed to step three.

STEP 3.

We can now work on his eyes. As you can see I used a sketching stroke to create the eyebrows. This is because eyebrows are hair. When that is done draw the beginning shapes of his eyes, then draw the bridge of his nose.

STEP 4.

Draw the eyes, color in the pupils, then sketch in some blemish marks on the face as well as some wrinkles under the eyes.

STEP 5.

Isaac had a broad nose so you will sketch out just the tip part of the nose along with the flared nostrils. Add some shading inside the nose, then draw his small lips and or mouth. Add an arched line to form a chin, then move along.

STEP 6.

Here you will draw the extremely loud curly hairstyle. These curls should be tight to one another and full of body. Take your time as you work on his style.

STEP 7.

Lastly, draw the shape of his neck, then sketch out the collar from his shirt. Erase the mistakes that you made throughout the lesson to clean things up.

Here you have the finished drawing of Sir Isaac Newton. Color him in or leave the drawing as a black and white sketch.
