How to Draw Professor Layton
This is Professor Layton from the video game of the same name. He is the main character to the game series. Like with Luke, the Professor is also fond of solving puzzles. He enjoys a good cup of tea as he is of English heritage. His full name is Professor Hershel Layton and he is a professor of archeology and works at Gressenheller University in London. As you can imagine Professor Layton is a well recognized figure throughout London. He uses his skills and powers to solve mysteries and puzzles with the help of his apprentice Luke Triton. Now that you know a little something about Professor Layton, drawing him will be a breeze. I will be back with one more lesson for you all until later today so enjoy, and let the drawing begin.

STEP 1.
Make a wooden looking style mannequin like so. Start with a head and torso, then draw the leg limbs and feet.
STEP 2.
Next, draw Professor Layton's top hat along with the ring around the base.
STEP 3.
Next, sketch out the Lego style face, color in the eyes, draw the mouth, then draw the ears, neck and jacket collar.
STEP 4.
Sketch out his jacket completely like so. This should include the shoulders, arms, and open flaps for the thick heavy wool style coat.
STEP 5.
Add the shirt line, then draw the hands.
STEP 6.
Lastly draw the legs, feet or shoes, then erase the mistakes. Now you can see how he turned out with the finished line art.
STEP 7.
