Let's start this tutorial with a flying flamingo.
When flamingos fly they unbend their neck and their legs, so the guide lines we have to draw are based on a straight line with a circle in the middle for the body.
Flamingos have three toes forward, webbed for swimming, and a very small rear toe. Each toe ends in a small claw.
Now we can start drawing a full body flamingo in a simple pose.
Draw the guide lines: small head, sinuous neck, body and long legs. Draw also the basic form of the bill and the feet.
Strat drawing the lineart of head and neck. The head is not a perfect circle, it's rather an oval.
Draw the body, the feathered tail and the point where the legs start.
Add eyes and bill.
Add some details to the whole figure.
The details here are mostly feathers and thin lines that define the figure and make it less flat.
