How to Draw Lyra Heartstrings, My Little Pony
Don't expect to see anymore characters from My Little Pony any time soon. I'm just uploading this lesson out of request. This tutorial is on "how to draw Lyra Heartstrings", step by step. She is a unicorn pony that is often seen in the background of the series. Her color is very different, almost like an old turquoise blue. Her mark is a harp and she is a very recognizable figure. The tutorial will teach you the task to drawing Lyra from a side view so hopefully that will make this lesson easier. I have said it before so I will say it again, I have more on the way for you all so stay tuned in. Peace people!

STEP 1.
Start with two simple circles, one for the head and the other for the body. You will then need to add a facial guide.
STEP 2.
Sketch out the side of Lyra's face, then draw in the ear, neck and chest.
STEP 3.
You will now draw in her short wavy mane, then draw the unicorn horn, as well as the stripes and inner ear detailing.
STEP 4.
Next, draw in her large round eye, then add the nose, mouth and lashes.
STEP 5.
Here you will draw out the legs, hooves, and then draw the rounded tips of the hooves.
STEP 6.
Next, draw the back, butt, and the hind legs. When that is finished draw the stomach to really have the body complete.
STEP 7.
Lastly, draw her cutie mark, and the long fluffy tail. Erase the mistakes after you detail the tail.
STEP 8.
This is the final step which is the line art. Color her in and you're done.Post a comment
