How to Draw Anime Ears, Step by Step, Anime Ears, Anime, Draw Japanese Anime, Draw Manga, FREE Online Drawing Tutorial, Added by Dawn, January 2, 2009, 6:43:15 am

Well this is your very first step on how to draw anime ears and all you will have to do is draw a large oblong circle like shape for the ear. At this point you can make the ear as big or as small as you like.

STEP 2.

For your second step you will start adding the detailed lining and definition to the anime ear by drawing a parallel thickness. Once that is done detail more of the ear on the inside as shown and then begin thickening the lobe.

STEP 3.

This is your third drawing step and what you will be doing here is adding more definition lines and detail. Once you are done your ear should look like a creek or river.

STEP 4.

Once you are finished your anime ear should come out looking like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color it in and make it your own.

STEP 5.

This is your first step to learning how to draw anime ears from the back view. Draw a skinny peanut like shape as seen here and then move to the next step.

STEP 6.

Now what you will be doing here all you have to do is draw out the base of the ear that connects to the side of the head and then start adding detail and definition as well.

STEP 7.

Once your done your anime ear should come out looking like what you see here. All you have to do now is color in the ear and that is it you have just finished this lesson on how to draw anime ears step by step.

The reason why I am uploading another anime body part drawing lesson is because I figure this is another part of the anime body that some people do not know how to draw. Anime ears are a lot like regular human real life ears. The only difference, is that anime ears are less detailed and defined. Drawing anime body parts can be a very fun and exciting thing to learn and sketch because you can play around with how big, small, long, short, or even detailed you want them to be. Most of the time anime ears are seldom seen on their characters but when they are they look either too big or too small depending on the character that you see them on. In this tutorial I will show you how to draw a typical anime ear that you can use on any anime character you want to create and draw. The tutorial image for the main picture is a sketch of different position and poses that you would see on an anime character. I know you will find this lesson fun, easy and useful because now you will have another skill under your belt that enables you draw that much better whenever you feel like drawing some anime characters.
