STEP 1.
So, for the first step, we will get the main structure and reference lines.
STEP 2.
Next, you should start fleshing out his body and neck and rough in the hairline and the edge of the face.
STEP 3.
After this, start getting in the shapes of his features and erase some unneeded lines from his face.
STEP 4.
Now, you should get the shape of Chaos's amazing hair. Don't forget his little ponytail in the back!
STEP 5.
For the final drawing step, and this also happens to be the longest, draw the outlines of the shiny spots in his hair and fill out all of the details.
STEP 6.
Finally, last but not least, shade in his hair and general features. For this picture, I used flat-cell shading which is where you use two or three shades of one color instead of smooth blending. You can do either or neither but be aware of the light source! I hope you had a good time and a good result. If you think you could have done better, try restarting the tutorial.
