How to Draw a Rose
It’s coming, February 14th. What does that mean? Well it means time to go out and spend some hard earned dollars to show your sweet heart how much you care and or love them. The best way to do that is either to buy a huge heart shaped box of chocolate with a dozen roses to go with it, or an enormous card that stands two feet tall that says "Be Mine". In this short but sweet tutorial I will show you "how to draw a rose" with little steps. This tutorial is especially good for kids that want to learn how to draw a rose as well. Being a novice in this particular field, I really struggled with this simple task because lets face it a rose is probably one of the hardest flowers to draw. I mean I can’t even make them out of icing for a cake. I didn’t sketch this image on paper at all. I totally drew it free hand with my tablet in Adobe Photoshop. Sometimes I do draw without sketching first because it just comes out a whole lot better. I’m not saying this image is perfect and I admit I do have to practice a bit more, but at least you will get the general idea on how to draw a rose for your special someone on that love bird day of February 14th. Oh yeah I almost forgot, remember roses come in different colors not just red, they come in pink, yellow and white as well. I’m sure there are more colors but those are the basic ones. Okay that’s all, so go have some fun, and teach yourself "how to draw a rose, step by step".

STEP 1.
Begin with the middle. This is where the rose hasn't sprout yet.
STEP 2.
Add a long slit at the side of the middle. This is where the base of the rose will branch out.
STEP 3.
Add the base to the bottom of the rose's slit and add a left petal. Make the left pedal large.
STEP 4.
Next, add two smaller pedals at the top of the rose. Make these seem like their folding.
STEP 5.
Erase you guidelines and you should come out with this. This rose was fairly east to draw. I hope this tutorial taught you a lot about drawing roses. If there's anything I can improve with, comment on this tutorial. Thanks!Comments: Post Comment

me put in the wrong validation code:( so now i gotta start all over and idk what to say....anyway...hmmm...."im new at this relationship thing...i mean right now im in a relationship that i dont want to loose...right now its the thing that makes most since to me...remember how we used to IM eachother like EVERYDAY even when the other person wasnt on!? i miss that... the thing i remember the most is when you told me u missed me sooo much and that you couldnt stop thinking about me and was wondring when i was comming back...ill never forget that...and the poem 'a boy said goodbye to his girl but before that he gave her 13 roses 12 were real and one was fake...then he told his girl, "i will love you forever until the last one dies", these are things i will never forget and i couldnt if i wanted to...i love you and right now my life is confusing and i dont understand alot...but the one thing i know is i dont want to loose you...idc if you hate me forever...ill never stop trying on us...its al that i have thats easy for me...its the only thing that makes life easier...so please dont give up on me...
