How to Draw Anime Body Figures
Hello people welcome back to another awesome drawing tutorial here on DragoArt.com. I am currently watching my sister and brother play Resident Evil 4 for the Game Cube. The game is wicked awesome and fun! We stay up hours playing the game even though it is pretty old. Unlike some people, I like hanging out with my brothers and sisters, they are like the only people you can trust. Another thing about hanging out with your siblings is that they have qualities about them that are attaching! I love them to death!!! Anyways, today we are going to learn how to draw an anime female body! I know a lot of people have trouble with drawing anime females so I came up with a very detailed lesson to help you improve your skills. I used to have a serious problem with the waist and chest area of a female body. I know now that I’m pretty good at it…I mean I’m not that good but I’m just good to an acceptation. I have to work on the bodies a little more before I become really good but as an artist I know that it takes hard work and determination to become the best you can be at something you love to do. So in this tutorial I will show you a few tips and tricks on how to make the female body a little easier. I wanted to make a quality tutorial like the ones you see in the how to draw manga books. I know for a fact, about two years ago I used to rage my searches for how to draw anime female bodies on the internet. The tutorials I found didn’t really help me. I tried my best to make mine a little better than the others. Learning how to draw anime girls is pretty hard. When I got my hands on the aspect I had so much confidence. As soon as I had serious trouble with the drawings, my confidence shot right down T_T. Well I hope this tutorial will come of use. I mean I tried the best I could to make it really awesome and easy enough for anyone to tackle. I gave you three different types of body posses to help make learning how to draw female anime bodies a lot easier. STEP 1.
Here is a simple tip to keep in mind when starting your drawing of the female body anime style. It is written for you in the step so that you can enlarge it and read the tip with ease.
STEP 2.
Here are different anime female body poses that is commonly seen in comics, series and with everyday drawing. Take a minute to look at the various posses and once you are done move to the first step of the lesson.
STEP 3.
This is a completed image of an anime female body all colored in and shaded. This is a three part tutorial lesson and this is what you will be learning first. So put your drawing cap on and lets start the tutorial shall we?
STEP 4.
Okay start this step by drawing out the guidelines and shapes to form a nice frame for the female anime body. Draw out a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. Add a neck line and then the shape of her squared torso. Add one more straight line and then draw out the shape of the bottom part of this female body. Since her legs are crossed you will make an "X" for the limb lines.
STEP 5.
In this second step you will start it out by drawing the shape of the chin and jaw. Once that is done add the shape of the neck and shoulders. Draw the curved lines for the eyes and then draw out the shape of the female breast. Add a curvy waist and then sketch out the shape of her thighs.
STEP 6.
Okay so now that you have finished three drawing steps on the female anime body you are going to work on adding more shape and definition to the body. Start by drawing out the shape of the head and hair style and then add the bottom eye line. Once that is done draw out the arm lines and then the left thigh. Detail the knee caps and draw the definition line for the pelvis.
STEP 7.
Well you have finally made it to the last step. What you will do here is draw or sketch out the bangs of the anime female body. Draw in the pupils and then color them in. Add the eyebrow lines and then the mouth and nose. Give her some collar bones. Detail her torso by adding an arched line for her rib and then an arch line on her breast. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 8.
This is what your drawing should look like when you are done. You have done a great job with this lesson and I know that because of it you will be drawing other anime characters a whole lot better. All you have to do now is color her in and put some clothes on her. You have just learned how to draw a female body anime style. There is two other posses on the way.
STEP 9.
Here is the same anime model that we used in the first lesson. When you are done you will have the knowledge of drawing a anime female body from the side. I didn't want to put so much detail and emphases on her chest so I left that kind of boyish. Her hair is even a bit short but that is because it is tutorial on how to draw a female body anime style.
STEP 10.
Start this step by drawing out some basic guidelines and shapes to for a frame for the body. Draw a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the shape of the face side view so make sure that you draw the arch of the nose and the shape of the chin. Add the shape of her torso shape and then the pelvis shape. Add the limb guidelines and then the hand and foot shapes.
STEP 11.
In this step you will draw out the shaping lines of her face and neck as well as her chest and arms. Once that is done you will draw out the shape of her legs and then her feet and hand shapes.
STEP 12.
So what do you thin so far? Pretty easy right? What you will do next is draw out the hair style and then the shape of her eyes. Draw the shape of her arm and then the shape of her thigh. Add the guidelines for her hand and fingers as well as toe lines.
STEP 13.
Well you have made it to the last drawing step and because of that all you have to do is add minor lines and details. First things first, you will add an eyebrow and then her eyeball. Give her a smirk and then sketch the remaining hair. Finish off the hand and give her a shapely bottom or butt. Finish off her foot and then her leg. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and your done.
STEP 14.
Once you are done your anime female body should look like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color her in and your done. You have just learned how to draw a female body anime style step by step. I hope you learned something valuable that will help you in future drawings.
STEP 15.
This is the third pose for a female anime body. Once you are done your character should come out looking just like her but of course you can add a different hair style as well as a different color. Lets get started with this third body pose so that we can get things going.
STEP 16.
Okay let's get started shall we? Start by drawing a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. Add a line for her neck and then a rounded triangle shape for her torso. Add another line to connect the torso shape to the pelvis shape. Once that is complete you can then add the limb guidelines for her legs and arms.
STEP 17.
This is the second step to the three part lesson series. You will draw out the shape of her chin and jaw as well as the lining for her anime eyes. You will draw out the chest "breast". Once that is done draw an arch line for her back and then the shape of her thighs and legs. As you can see this step was pretty simple.
STEP 18.
Okay you are pretty much almost done with this tutorial and all you have to do now is add the shape and outline for her hair style as well and make sure you give her some bangs if you want to keep that style. All you have to do now is finish drawing out the shape and lining for her eyes and then draw the shape of her arms and detail her torso like the stomach.
STEP 19.
Well this is your last drawing step and what you will do is sketch out the lining for her bangs and color in her pupils. Add some detail and definition to her collar bone and hands as well as giving her some fingers. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and then proceed onto the last step.
STEP 20.
Once you are done this is what your anime female body should look like when you are done. All you have to do now is color her in and draw some clothes on her.
