First begin by sketching out the shape of the pomegranate with the small stubby stem. The stem has two dips and three points.

2

You will draw the edge of the pomegranate which is also going to be the pulp inside of the fruit.

3

Here is where you will draw in three sections for the inside of your pomegranate. These shapes are where the seeds will be filled in at. This is also the pulp so make sure it comes out thick.

4

Next in a very calm manner, draw in each one of the arils or seeds like so. You can choose where they will live so it's not that important to make the inside of your pomegranate look like mine. When you are done erase your mistakes.

5

Here is how the pomegranate looks when finished. Color it in using a really nice ruby red color.

Description: Here is a fruit that is gaining more and more popularity. It is red, round, and full of juicy ruby red colored seeds that are edible. Today we will be tackling an easy lesson that will show you "how to draw a pomegranate", step by step. In the store they are associated with the POM symbol which is short for Pomegranate. These fruits originated from places like Iran and Iraq. After sometime the fruit had begun spreading to Asia, Northern India and the Himalayas. Pomegranates have been used in food recipes since forever and more and more chefs around the world use the special many flavors that pomegranates give off. The best way to open and distract the seeds (which are called 'arils' is to cut the fruit in half, then begin distracting the seeds while submerged in a bowl of water. This type of method makes it easy to keep the skin and white pulp separate from the seed because the seeds sink to the bottom of the bowl. Some seeds will come out tasting sweet, while others will taste sour. Drawing a pomegranate will be relatively easy because I made sure to make it simple to follow. I thank you guys for joining me with this tut, I hope you all stay put to see what pops up next. Peace out and enjoy!
