I just had to go and made a tutorial on another internet meme because I really get a kick of their facial expressions. This next lesson we will be teaching ourselves "how to draw Sweet Jesus Face", step by step. The Sweet Jesus Face is a rage comic that is commonly used when trying to explain or enhance ones enjoyment or overwhelming yearn for something or someone. Some confuse The Sweet Jesus Face with the internet meme Me Gusta, but for those of you that know your internet memes, you should be able to distinguish the two. Sweet Jesus Face has been around since 2008, and I have a feeling that it will be around for a few more. Having said that, have fun with drawing Sweet Jesus Face and stay put because I still have more drawing fun for you all.

STEP 1.
Make the shape of a nicely rounded head. Sketch in the facial guidelines like so, then proceed to step two.
STEP 2.
Begin sketching out the actual form of the meme's face by molding it like so.
STEP 3.
Using the facial guidelines, draw the squinted shaped eyes, then color in the pupils. Add the wrinkles and creases at the ends and top of the eyes. Draw the upside down smile, then you are done here.
STEP 4.
Almost done folks. Draw out the teeth and color the inside of the open mouth. Add a definition line for the top lip then add some detailing at the corners of the mouth too.
STEP 5.
Lastly, erase the mistakes then the facial guides. You will then draw some scuffs, marks, and definition on the face as well as give this face a saggy chin.
STEP 6.
Here is Sweet Jesus Face when complete. You can add some color, or leave him black and white. Great work people!Post a comment

Really dude? This is awewsome! Dawn is one of the best Tutorial makers on This whole website. Themn you turn around and say yout disapointing?! That comment is disapointing.
For those who don't know the difference between Me Gusta and Sweet Jesus: Me Gusta is usually used to express unusual or perverted pleasure in something while Sweet Jesus is just simple pleasure. Hope it helped.

And also the only reason tutorials on this site are like this sometimes, is because some people are just starting drawing, and need something simple as this one is one of those. And anyways who are you to be judging art! Any art is beautiful, and great in it's own way! .gif "B)")
