1

Make a flat, oblong shape like so for your framing guide of the sleigh.

2

You will now draw out the actual design of the sleigh, and this part of the drawing can be tweaked any way. Draw the front part of the sleigh, then draw the back part. Notice how the back is longer.

3

You will now draw in the blade which is how the sleigh gets around by sliding. The ends should curl in for a nice design.

4

Create the frame design and pattern for you sleigh. You can alter this part of the sled any way you want.

5

Lastly, draw the sack full of toys, then you are all done. You can choose not to add the sack, that's up to you. Sketch in some detailing on the bag, then erase all the mistakes.

6

Here is how the sleigh looks when you are done. Color it in, and you're done. I hope you enjoyed drawing a sleigh folks!

Description: Ho, ho, ho folks. Christmas is almost drawing near so I guess I will sporadically uploading lessons related to the winter holiday. Up next, we will learn "how to draw a sleigh", step by step. The sleigh is, as you know Santa's vehicle of choice. This sleigh looks like the traditional ones associated with the holidays. Instead of leaving the sleigh empty, I drew in the sack of toys. If you don't want to add a bag of toys, leave it out that is totally up to you. Anyways, drawing a sleigh isn't going to be as hard as you think, so have fun with the idea and I will prepare another tutorial or you all. Adios people!
