How to Draw an Anime Fox
After submitting that tutorial on the cute anime cat, I received more then a couple requests for anime style animals drawn in the manner I did the cat. So here is one of the requests on "how to draw an anime fox", step by step. This is a different anime drawing style that I'm playing with. I don't know if I will continue with this type of style because it all depends on the mood I'm in. Anyways, it should be pretty fun, exciting and simple to draw your own anime fox. STEP 1.
make two shapes, one for the head and the other for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.
STEP 2.
Next, draw out the fox's head starting with the triangular shaped ears, followed by the shapes of the tuft on the cheeks. Fox are very fluffy and hairy animals so you have to convey that in your drawing. Draw some fuzz on the head, then move to step three.
STEP 3.
Using the facial guidelines draw out the shapes of the large eyes. They should look like big teardrops. Sketch in the whiskers, nose and mouth, as well as the hair inside of the ears.
STEP 4.
We will start tackling the body and the first thing we do for that is draw out the fluffy chest. Add some detailing to the fur or coat, then move to step five.
STEP 5.
It's now time to draw out the cute, stubby front legs like so. Once that is complete you can draw the paws, and marking lines on the legs as well as some elbow fuzz.
STEP 6.
Continue to draw out the body by making the shape for the back, hind leg, and the back paw. You will also need to draw in the stomach too.
STEP 7.
Lastly, sketch out the curly bushy tail. Make sure that you add the detailing where necessary. Since this is your last drawing step you can start erasing the mistakes.
STEP 8.
The finished drawing comes out looking like the fox you see before you now. Color it in to finish it off.Comments: Post Comment
