Basic shapes are an excellent way to start out the beginning of a sketch. Remember to use pencil till your satisfied with your finished sketch and then use pen or marker. Pencil erases; ink does not.

2

Here we start working on the head. Take your time and if your not satisfied with your initial sketch; just keep reworking it. These things usually take me several attempts before i am satisfied. Remeber to make your angles sharp.

3

Here we work the stomach or "pouch" portion of the seahorse. I prefer to allow white in my tribal but it can always be filled in or colored

4

Here we work the back portion. Again if you would prefer to fill in the white inside the tribal or color it; go ahead and do so.

5

Here we finish up with the fin and tail portion. Once you finish up this step your ready to darken up the final product with marker or color.

I hope this tutorial was helpful and enjoyable.
